About

I'm Alexander — a Master's student in Data Science and an algorithm developer at Jotron Skipper. My work sits at the intersection of applied mathematics, machine learning, and engineering.

At Jotron Skipper I develop algorithms for maritime applications, working with real-world data and constraints. My academic work focuses on signal processing and predictive modelling — most recently building ML pipelines for marine depth prediction from acoustic data.

I care about writing clean code, understanding the fundamentals, and building systems that actually work in practice — not just on paper. I've implemented machine learning algorithms from scratch to understand what's happening under the hood, and I think that matters.

When I'm not working, I'm probably gaming, tinkering with side projects, or thinking about how to solve a problem I can't let go of.
